We are truly honored and privileged to be asked to be a part of so many wedding days, to be invited to the most important day of your life and to be asked to capture your memories and preserve them forever. Your wedding photography should be as unique and special as your relationship and capture the very essence not only of the events of the day but the feelings and emotions that a wedding is really about.
We specialise in wedding photo-journalism documenting your day and capturing the details that you can easily miss, the expressions on the faces of your family as you say “I do” or the stolen glimpse into your eyes and smile of your groom as you struggle to get the ring over his finger! We don’t like to spend lots of time getting everyone to stand just right so you end up with an album of lots of identical pictures, of course most couples do want some set-up shots but even during the process we will be snapping away to capture the forgotten moments like that look your auntie gave your uncle (you know, that look).
We know that every wedding is as unique as the couple themselves and so our approach will be different for every wedding too. We offer a free, no-obligation consultation where we can chat with you over a coffee about the kind of photography you are looking for and will describe how a wedding day normally flows. We consider our selves wedding professionals, not just photographers and never forget that your wedding is not a “shoot” but is a special day for you to share with your new husband or wife and your friends and family, we work closely with your venue on the day and make sure we know what is important to you before hand so you can relax and enjoy the whole process.
We are absolutely dedicated to our company motto, “captivating images, exceptional service” for us nothing is more important than looking after you on the big day and making sure that you both have great fun while sharing your day with us. Photography, depending on what the couple want, can take a fair bit of time so we think it is really important that you have a really good relationship with us, feel at ease and have fun, after all happy subjects make better photographs!
Great photography comes from a blend of art, technology, communication and timing, a good photographer needs to understand light, colour and composition and understand their tools but we feel that being good people-people, putting you and your guests at ease and knowing where to be when is even more important, oh and luck too, cant beat a bit of luck, like a swan deciding to swim through our picture (we honestly didn’t plan it). Just because we think the geeky stuff ins’t the most important doesn’t mean we cut corners or expenses when it comes to our kit, we use exclusively Nikon professional cameras (normally shooting with a pair of D700s) and Nikon Nickor lenses, giving exceptional image quality, we have back-up equipment so if disasters occur you would probably not ever know! We also use the very best hardware and software in our digital darkroom and back up your images to multiple hard drives, disc and a cloud server. We hold both public liability and professional indemnity insurance, just in case.
